Preventive services and how they&amp;#39;re covered can be confusing. The benefit level for approved services could vary depending on how your doctor bills the claim.  If a medical diagnosis is submitted because an issue was found during the procedure, the benefit level could change and include an amount the patient is responsible for. This usually happens because the amount you owe goes to your deductible or coinsurance.  You can refer to your benefit booklet to see what services are covered under your plan. Some plans have the booklet available on your Blue Access for Members account. If you don&amp;#39;t have access to your booklet, let us know.
