Stephanie has worked in fitness and health promotion for more than 15 years. She works full-time, manages a cycling team and has the full support of her wonderful husband and daughter. She believes writing about health and fitness is almost as much fun as riding a bike!
Tammy writes, reads and runs on an almost daily basis in the pursuit of health and happiness. Serving as quartermaster for her 3 kids and husband, she holds down a suburban fort forged together with equal parts chaos, fun and love.
Teresa is a Clinical specialist for LCM for the Retail department at Blue Cross Blue Shield. She is an avid dancer with a passion for community health and wellness, and is excited to see her daughter following in her footsteps!

Enid is a community manager for both English and Spanish speaking audiences. In her free time she is busy traveling the world, finding the perfect photography angle, attending concerts or stirring up a new recipe.
Araceli is a community manager with over four years of experience in customer service… focused on Marketing, PR and Social Media. Araceli considers herself a “foodie”. This means, to offset the calories consumed you will find her in a gym at least five days a week.

Kerchanin works in writing, editing, social media and digital marketing. She has a passion for online media, creative design, journalism and copy writing. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in International Communications, a minor in French and her Master’s Degree in Global Journalism. She is an animal lover, and is “mama” to two sweet black cats, Bitty and Stella. She loves rock climbing, mountain biking, theatre and opera, global travel and international relationship building, ice hockey and all things stained glass. She is a proud supporter of several non-profits including “End It Movement”, “Positive Women”, “RAINN”, and “ISF”.
Tamara is a Production Editor with an extensive background in customer service in the health insurance industry. She is married to her high school sweetheart and is the biggest fan of her son who recently made her an empty-nester. Tamara spends a lot of her time reading, visiting local wineries or traveling with friends and attending sporting events as an avid sports fan
Lauren enjoys sharing information with people on the “interwebs” and thus found her calling as a Social Media Specialist. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, which prepared her for a career in writing, developing relationships and drinking wine. She’s always ready to learn something new and thrives when she has multiple projects to work on at once. Lauren believes in the importance of being healthy, and reminds people to maintain good mental health, as well as physical. Outside of work she enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with her friends discovering new restaurants—she even organizes a supper club with her best friend. She has two Schnorkies (Schnauzer-Yorkie mix), Murphy and Cooper, and takes them on many adventures to the dog park.
Latino Community Managers @ Equipo Connect TeamChristina is a Mexican-American communications professional, with expertise in the Latino market, diabetes and social media with total market experience. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, College of Media with a master’s degree in journalism. With a history in reporting, editing, public relations, business development, marketing and strategic planning, she is a well-rounded individual when it comes to storytelling and adaptability in multiple disciplines. Additionally, she is passionate about the arts, education, education through art, culture and community building. All of this culminates into the EXPO Collective, based in Pilsen, which she co-founded nearly 3 years ago.
