BCBS Retroactive Payment on original Deductible Payments

I'm a provider. Recently, we had many claims retroactively paid for by BCBS IL that were initially paid by clients toward their deductible. I want to be sure this payment is correct before reimbursing clients. Has anyone else experienced this and were able to confirm with a real human from BCBS IL?
