I found an old check. Can I find out if it was reissued, or if I can deposit it?

• My name is Gwynette Chaney, Don 12/19/64, and I have been awaiting a refund since, 10/24/24. I was initially issued a refund in 2023, to an old address and called the number on the letter I received on 8/23/24, regarding a uncashed check. I was sent a letter requesting that the check be returned along with the requested document. I responded to the RESPONSE PAGE FORM and returned the uncashed check with the requested documents. I have called and called and called about this refund owed to me for over payments to BCBS to no avail. For the past two weeks, between my cancer treatments and my life requirements, I have called and placed on hold for 45-60 minutes, or longer, several times, only to have the phone line disconnected. I have provided my full name, the bar code on the last letter and phone number each time, as requested by the representative and no one ever calls me back. I have called every BCBS phone number in my phone and will list each one at the end of this complaint. How is this a legitimate business, when such chaotic activity takes place over the phone with each representative that I have spoken to. I am only trying to receive the money owed to me. What happens to the over paid funds from customers to BCBS? I need all the financial help that I can get right now, I can’t work at this time, so my savings have dwindled down. I am fully aware that my health issues, isn’t your concern and I don't know who else to contact at this point since your representatives on the phone seams to take my request for money owed to me as a joke!!
