Phone # 312-653-2932 keeps calling. Started 1 week after an ER visit. Claiming to be nurses - the only one I wrote down was "Jasmine". They want me to cofirm my DOB/social and want to discuss why I was at the ER (ended up unknown infection) do follow up/
First, I have no phone # information listed in BCBSIL.com, so how do they have my #? Why would you cold call? No one trusts random callers. The only reason I even answer is because I am waiting on medical phone calls for other things. Very scary and frustrating. Don't know if it's real or not. Even if it's legit, why would I speak with anyone who is not my doctor? If it's fake - that is scary. I didn't give any info other than yes, they are speaking with me, but now I worry about fraud.
Hello, We do have areas that may reach out after a hospital visit. These phone calls are not required. I will pass your feedback to the appropriate area. ~ HC
