Hi
We have several Federal IDR disputes that were decided in the provider's favor by the Certified IDR Entity (IDRE); however, BCBS has not issued the awarded payments. Under CMS regulations, payment must be made within 30 calendar days of the Final Payment Determination.
We have contacted BCBS customer service and emailed idr_ds_support_team@bcbstx.com, but have not received any assistance or response.
Could you please direct us to the appropriate department or contact that handles unpaid Federal IDR Final Payment Determinations and can assist with resolving these outstanding payments?
The team who handles this website is not part of the team who processes payments and we do not have any information on this. ~ KW
Could you please confirm whether there is currently a backlog or processing delay affecting Federal IDR payments? We have noticed that BCBS is no longer issuing payments in the same manner as before. Previously, we received payments that matched the full IDR awarded amounts, often exceeding $100,000 or $200,000. However, recently, we have only been receiving smaller payments, while many larger awarded amounts remain outstanding.
We would appreciate any clarification regarding the status of these payments and whether there are any internal delays impacting their release
You will need to wait for them to respond to your email. ~ KW
I've sent my query in writing to this email address as well ProviderRelations@bcbsil.com and they generated a case#23034286 which is currently pending, could you please look in to this and let me know with the updated status
I currently have nsa.disputes@bcbsil.com as the contact email for Federal IDR-related inquiries; however, I have not received any response despite multiple attempts.
Could you please provide an alternate email address or direct contact number for the appropriate department that handles Federal IDR payment issues?
Calling BCBS has unfortunately not been effective, as the wait time to reach a representative is often close to an hour, and the representatives we speak with generally do not have access to or knowledge of the Federal IDR process.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could share the appropriate point of contact who can assist with these outstanding Federal IDR payment matters
We are not able to assist with these claims here. Please follow the link above to find the information on how to contact our claim area. ~ KW
This link has nothing to do with my query, please provide the concerned email address and escalate my request to the relevant team to release the payment ASAP.
Hello, You can see how to contact our provider team for assistance on our website - https://www.bcbsil.com/provider/education/education-reference/provider-tools ~ KW
