I currently use Riverside Health here in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. They've been offering virtual doctor appointments through AMWELL as part of their expanding services. I suffered a nasty arm injury 2 weeks ago and tried to sign up and use the AMWELL app to access a doctor quickly instead of having my PCP or on-call orthopedic doctor paiged or running to the ER at 0330 and waiting forever to be seen. During the app sign-up process I was asked for my insurance info but BCBSIL wasn't on the list but several other BCBS (Enter State Name Here) were available. Does BCBSIL cover virtual appointments? If so, what app outside of AMWELL?
