Tier 1 drugs for ADHD? Any at all? Or does BCBS consider treating ADHD to be "non-preferred"?

What Tier 1 drugs are available for treating ADHD in kids? Looking at the formulary list, it appears to me that there is not one single preferred adhd medicine. How can that be? That means anyone with adhd has to pay the full deductible to bcbs, several thousands of dollars, before receiving any drug benefit? (With the exception of one or two very expensive plans.) Please tell me I am wrong. Otherwise, it seems like BCBS is saying that they consider treating adhd "non-preferred"!!
