I am self-employed and moving out of state in a few months. Can I keep my BCBSIL plan or do I need to switch insurance to that specific state?
Yes that is correct. You will need to speak with the insurance carrier in the state you are moving to for information on your deductible. ~ Heather
So I will need to cancel my current BCBS plan in Illinois and enroll in a plan in the state I'm moving? Does the deductibles carry over to the new plan?
Hello, You do need to live in Illinois in order to have an individual plan with us. You will need to enroll in coverage in the state where you are moving. ~ Kayla
