2016 temporary coverage

I would like to speak to someone about my temporary coverage I had during 2016. I have already spoken to the marketplace representatives that explained my coverage was not through them but I know I had 6 month coverage through BCBS before my insurance for my company kicked in in June 2016. If someone can please contact me. I would greatly appreciate it since I would like to avoid the fine since I had coverage.

  • Hello, If you were enrolled in a temporary plan last year you would not receive a 1095 tax form as these plans do not meet the requirements of the Affordable Care Act. If you were enrolled in a standard individual plan with us last year that you just canceled to go on your group coverage then you would receive a 1095 form. These were recently mailed out so you should receive this soon. ~ Kayla
