I have question about emergency out of network hospital. Let's say I have an emergency event and I go to emergency room in the hospital that is out of network (I have bronze focuscare 209 plan) and they take care of me and they say you have to have surgery right away in that out of network hospital. Would that be covered under my plan (meaning would that charge count towards out of pocket maximum)? ALso, if I have to stay in hospital, will that be covered as well (also meaning that it counts toward my out of pocket max). In my plan it says that out of network emergency rooms are covered but I don't know if other services in that hospital are covered (like stay in bed for couple of days or surgery or labs). I'm guessing if I'm admitted, everything should be be covered. And if I'm not, that there is $1000 copay as it says in my plan and other charges. Thank you.
