I had a physical therapist's front desk person neglect to tell me that I was not in their network (just said I was covered, which I assumed meant all was well). What should I do ?

I was told this post-appointment and was required to pay a large deductible.

  • Hi Angelina- If a service is subject to the deductible then it doesn't necessarily mean the provider is not in the network. Specific services require you to meet your deductible before the plan will cover at a certain percentage. We'd have to review the claim to be sure this is the case.
