I am in the process of open enrollment and considering an HMO Blue Advantage plan. Our current Internist/PCP is on the HMO list of providers. However, if we choose her as the primary PCP, can we also use another doctor in the same office/same group under the HMO plan or are we only limited to seeing her? I was just wondering in case there's a circumstance where our primary PCP is unavailable for immediate care, but another Dr. is available in same office. I just want to make sure we would be covered under that Dr. as well with the HMO.
