I am a group administrator for our company and we do have BCBS. There is a section that states that there is mental health coverage for our employees but does not give the information regarding what is covered. My question is do we have to get preauthorized from our PCP first. Is there a crisis hot line that people can call like an EAP program or do they have to go face to face in an office environment? if you can answer my questions or send me a flyer with coverage or even a working phone number that I can actually call to speak to someone regarding coverage.

Hello, You will need to speak to customer service regarding your group's mental health coverage. If your group has less than 100 members, you can call 1-800-548-1687. If it has 100 or more, you can reach customer service at 1-800-327-8497 or 1-800-828-3116 ~ Heather
