Is there a state insurance dept that can help all of us? In NY they have the NYS Dept of Ins and they help providers get the answers needed from carriers. This is terrible for patient care and it could hinder patient care. Any providers on here can you please direct me if you know this information. I will also reach out to the NYS Ins dept for guidance. i hate to have to do things this way but there is no consideration for staff time or patient care
FYI - BCBS of IL will send you a private message telling you that their provider services will call you back but they wont. Then when you private message again, they will lie and say that they called a specific date and talked to you about a generic reason.
Again, how is a private message sent? also, I see there is a provider on here still waiitng on a call since 11/5. My patients have severe diagnosis and cannot wait on that
Thank you for the clarification. If you would like to send us a private message I can ask our provider services team to call you to help. ~ Kayla
Hi Kayla, I actually am not. I said in NY they have this service. I am well versed on who i need to contact.
Hi Crystal, If you are a provider in New York you will need to speak with your local Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan for assistance. ~ Kayla
Representatives do NOT answer the calls there! It is terrible the way providers are treated by this carrier!
